The name Aliada Law was born from a simple but powerful truth: every visionary business, whether it is a high-growth tech startup in Tel-Aviv or a family-owned restaurant in the Bronx, needs a legal partner who is truly on hand.
In Spanish, Aliada means Ally. In Hebrew, Al Yada (על ידה) translates to "at her hand" or "on hand." This fusion is the heartbeat of my practice. I founded Aliada Law to serve as the bridge between your ambitious goals and the complex legal landscape of the United States.
Meet ROBERTA KRAUS: A Wealth of In-House Experience
With over 25 years of experience practicing law, including serving as US General Counsel for global organizations, I understand that for a business to thrive, its legal foundation must be resilient and strategically sound. I have spent most of my career in-house, navigating the "all-encompassing" legal needs of diverse industries, from highly regulated mobile virtual network wireless carriers (MVNOs), tech startups to jewelry designers and local restaurants.

I bring a sophisticated academic background to my practice, holding both a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a prestigious Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. I am a licensed member of the New York Bar, authorized to provide high-level legal advocacy and strategic counsel across the state. Further reflecting my high standing of professional integrity and trust, I hold a Secret Security Clearance from the FBI. This combination of specialized IP expertise and federal-level clearance ensures that my clients receive counsel that is as secure as it is strategically advanced.
